This article only discusses the installation of our company’s ABS eyewash, and explains how to install it correctly. This eyewash is an ABS composite eyewash BD-510, all of which are connected by pipe thread.
1. This connection method can not wrap raw material tape or use sealant at the pipe thread connection. It only needs to put the sealing rubber ring in the internal thread port, the rubber ring plane can be upwards, and then connect with the external thread until the rubber Press the ring tightly.
2. In actual operation, when the BD-510 ABS composite eyewash is installed, the connection of the two main pipes below the main body does not need to put a rubber ring, just tighten the thread connection. Because this section is a flush basin wastewater drainage pipe, there is no water pressure, and there is no water when not in use. Therefore, no apron seal is required.
3. When the internal and external threads of the ABS trunk pipe are connected, sometimes they can’t be screwed after a few buckles. At this time, you need to use a pipe wrench to tighten. It is best to use two pipe wrenches, one pipe wrench to fix one end, one pipe Tighten the thread with pliers. The threaded connection above the main body of BD-510 needs to place rubber ring. The threaded connection part from the main body to the water inlet position needs to be tightened to the bottom of the thread to compress the rubber ring. The threaded connection from above the water inlet to the top cannot be over-tightened. Each threaded connection position should be left with a tightening margin of about half a turn. This is to be used when adjusting the posture after the overall eyewash is installed. That is, after the installation is completed, the piercing part and the leaching part need to be adjusted to the same vertical line.
4. Water test, if there is water leakage at the connection, it is necessary to tighten the rubber ring at the connection. If the leakage is serious, consider whether the apron is placed or the placement surface is wrong, and the plane of the apron should be upward.
