ANSI Z358.1-2014: The U.S. National Standard for Emergency Eyewash and Shower Equipment. This standard establishes common minimum performance and use requirements for all eyewash and shower equipment used to flush the eyes, face and body of persons exposed to hazardous materials and chemicals.
CE certification is limited to the basic safety requirements that the item does not endanger the safety of humans, animals, and goods, rather than general quality requirements.
